Life@HBC: ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Thursday, May 10th 9:30am-11:30am - MOPS. Our next Mother of Preschoolers meeting will be held. All moms and their children 5 and under are welcome!
  • Saturday, May 12th 10am - Men’s Hike and Summit Testimonies. Men, fathers, sons are meeting at Wachusett Mountain to hike the mountain together. We will be meeting in the Wachusett Mtn ski area parking lot. Bring a lunch, water—hiking boots or sturdy shoes recommended. Maps will be provided; prayers appreciated. Rain or shine.   • Sunday, May 13th - Bake Sale to benefit our Guatemala mission trips will be held on Mother’s Day, May 13th. Plan to buy something sweet for the moms in your life!
  • Mothers Day (May 13th) - Fathers Day (June 17th) - CareNet Bottle Drive Fundraiser. CareNet is a Pregnancy Resource Center supported by Heritage. The bottle drive will begin on Mother’s Day (May 13th) and end on Father’s Day (June 17th). The baby bottles will be available on Mother’s Day! All you have to do is fill it with cash or checks and return it to the church.
  • Wednesday, May 16th at 6:30 pm - Ladies 3rd Annual Transformational Triathlon. There will be an informational meeting for those interested in participating in the triathlon this summer. For more information, contact Carrie Provencal.
  • Saturday May 19th at 10am-11:30am - Summer Book Club - For those who are looking for a way to connect with other women this summer, the ladies ministry is offering book clubs! We will be reading One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. If you would like to be part of a book club or hostess one in your home, plan on attending an informational breakfast. If you can’t make the meeting you can still participate. Contact the office for more information!
  • Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:30pm - Awana Awards Ceremony- For those whose children participate in Awana, you are invited to their awards ceremony. For more information, contact Jesse Harvey.
  • June 6th - Senior Lunch. If you are 55 and older, set aside June 6th for our next senior luncheon!
  • Friday, June 15th DEADLINE - Bus Trip to Pennsylvania - September 10-12th, there is a bus trip organized by Eunice Larson to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as well as to Reading and Philadelphia. For more information, check out the display in the foyer, their site here or contact Eunice Larson at 508-829-2056. Sign up by June 15th.
  • June 15th-June 17th - Dr. Doug Bookman is coming to HBC! He will be leading several teaching sessions. You can visit his website for more information at www.bookmanministries.com

sunday morning schedule

9:00-9:45am. We start out Sundays with something we call the Adult Learning Center (for adults, of course) and Sunday School (for youth and children). However, on the first Sunday of every month, we hold a Communion service in place of the Adult Learning Center in the gym.

10:00-11:30 a.m. At 10am, we all join together for a contemporary worship service, which includes a time of worship music followed by teaching from our pastor. Oh yeah, for the young kids, there's nursery and junior church (4-9 years old).
