Join the New HBC Announcements Email List

Here's something that people have been requesting for a long while...We now have a new email list, fully separate from the prayer list, for general HBC announcements and info. The purpose of this list is to provide a way for church leaders and the church body to communicate with each other in a timely manner on general announcements and event reminders, but on issues that are not prayer requests per se.

If you would like to join the announcements list, you can call or email the church office, and we'll add you onto the list right away.

Note: The HBC announcements list is totally independent of the HBC prayer list. Therefore, even though you are on the HBC prayer list, you need to let us know of your interest in subscribing to the new announcements list. We won't be adding people automatically.

We recommend HBCers to join both lists to be in the loop on All Things Heritage.

Introducing the HBC Life Together List

In the process of formulating the announcements list, a new email list idea surfaced to meet a need that neither of the other two not cover. We are calling it the HBC Life Together list. The purpose of this list is to share specific 1:1 needs/etc amongst the church body - stuff that is too specific or narrow in scope for the more general HBC Announcements list. Examples:

* You have a used refrigerator that you no longer need and would like to find a good home. Send a quick email - "Hey, we have a used fridge anyone is welcome to"
* Your elderly neighbor is moving next weekend and you'd like to round up four able-bodied men to help out.
* You are looking for a group of people who live in Holden to start a morning discipleship group.
* You need a handyman to do some jobs around the house, but would love to hire someone from the church if possible.
* Your son loves computers and would like to help out people with problems (that one came directly from my son just now!)
